The Command Staff of the Comanche County Sheriff's Office consists of the Sheriff, as the duly elected official, the Undersheriff . The Office of the Sheriff is established by Article 17, Section 2 of the Constitution of the State of Oklahoma.
Sheriff Kenny Stradley has served as the Sheriff of Comanche County since 1989.
In 2014 Sheriff Kenny Stradley was inducted into the Oklahoma Sheriffs' Hall of Fame.

Undersheriff John Stowe serves as the second in command of the Sheriff's Office. The Undersheriff performs those duties specifically assigned by the Sheriff. The Undersheriff also manages Sheriff Sales to include foreclosure sales.

The Chief Deputy Sheriff is the highest rank that can be promoted within the sheriff's department. Deputy Chief (Major) Doyle Tosh serves as the operational manager of the sheriff's department. He participates in the command decisions of the department and reports directly to the sheriff. He is responsible for the direction and leadership of the department. He also coordinates the training and promotion of department personnel.
