Patrol

Honor Guard

The Patrol Division provides first line law enforcement support to the rural areas and towns which have no police departments . The Patrol Division also provides backup services to municipal police departments upon request.

The Patrol Division is composed of 14 full-time sworn state-certified peace officers. Included in this number are one Lieutenant (Patrol Commander) and four Sergeants (Shift Supervisors). The assigned deputies are divided into shifts to provide 24 hour a day, 7 day a week coverage.

Within the Patrol Division are the K-9 Sections. The current serving K-9 teams are LT Tosh and K-9 Juel and Deputy Duran and K-9 Dan.

Also serving within the Patrol Division is the Honor Guard. The Honor Guard provides honors to fallen brothers and sisters in arms, both law enforcement and military. The Honor Guard also participates in civic functions on Memorial Day and the 4th of July.
